Fundraising

The fundraising committee organises various key activities throughout the year, as well as ongoing fundraising initiatives, to raise additional funds for classroom and playground equipment, as well as assisting with the costs of the building of the new school.  The Montessori Open Day, held at the end of May each year, is a major day on the fundraising calendar.

Working Bees/Classroom Cleanups

The extensive array of classroom equipment and the school grounds need continual cleaning and maintenance.  Parents are asked to help at a minimum of two working bees per year or to pay the annual working bee levy.

Social

The Farmhouse Montessori School has an active parent body and there are many opportunities for parents to get to know each other and enjoy being part of the school community. Many social events are held throughout the year including morning teas, BBQ's and dinners.
